Autumn in Telluride

Telluride, Colorado

Good morning from Telluride, Colorado!

All week, the fall color in Telluride has been primarily just vibrant yellows, but I am excited to see what the trees do after this brief and unexpected snowstorm yesterday. 😃

1. First Photo. Thursday. The Road to Telluride.

Telluride is a box canyon, so there’s only one road in… and the road only goes one place! (Well, technically two— cuz if you’re driving the opposite direction, it takes you back OUT of Telluride! 🤪)

2. Second Photo. Friday. Biking the Valley Floor.

Each day I hop on my fat tire bike and ride from Mountain Village into Telluride (yes, along that One Road, lol) and I’d always wondered if my Canon and a wide angle lens would fit in the front satchel. The answer, clearly, is Yes! 🤩However, it makes the bike imbalanced and front heavy in a way I’m still getting used to…! 🄓

3. Third Photo. Saturday. Window Mountain.

Don’t bother Googling ā€œTelluride, Window Mountainā€ cuz that’s not a real thing. lol šŸ˜ That’s just what I call it, since it’s the mountain we’ve always seen outside our window. And yep, I actually photographed this snowstorm right from our balcony in Mountain Village! (Lazy, 😜)
