Autumn in Telluride

Telluride, Colorado

Good morning from Telluride, Colorado!

All week, the fall color in Telluride has been primarily just vibrant yellows, but I am excited to see what the trees do after this brief and unexpected snowstorm yesterday. šŸ˜ƒ

1. First Photo. Thursday. The Road to Telluride.

Telluride is a box canyon, so thereā€™s only one road inā€¦ and the road only goes one place! (Well, technically twoā€” cuz if youā€™re driving the opposite direction, it takes you back OUT of Telluride! šŸ¤Ŗ)

2. Second Photo. Friday. Biking the Valley Floor.

Each day I hop on my fat tire bike and ride from Mountain Village into Telluride (yes, along that One Road, lol) and Iā€™d always wondered if my Canon and a wide angle lens would fit in the front satchel. The answer, clearly, is Yes! šŸ¤©However, it makes the bike imbalanced and front heavy in a way Iā€™m still getting used toā€¦! šŸ„“

3. Third Photo. Saturday. Window Mountain.

Donā€™t bother Googling ā€œTelluride, Window Mountainā€ cuz thatā€™s not a real thing. lol šŸ˜ Thatā€™s just what I call it, since itā€™s the mountain weā€™ve always seen outside our window. And yep, I actually photographed this snowstorm right from our balcony in Mountain Village! (Lazy, šŸ˜œ)
