🦁 Just returned from Kenya, miss it already! 🦁

I have barely been back from Kenya a day and have had almost no time to cull or edit my photos, but I simply couldn’t wait to share with you all a little first peek at one of the magical encounters I had with this amazing male lion.

I went to Africa this time completely alone— so I could focus 100% on photography— and Kenya did not disappoint.

It truly is the wildcat capitol of the world, and I have had more close and personal encounters with lions, leopards, and cheetahs than ever before in my life.

I cannot wait to share some of these magical encounters and imagery with you in the upcoming months.

And yes, I was really that close to this beautiful creature. ☺️I think this particular lion really liked me and enjoyed me being there with him.

That’s the sense I got, anyways. 😝
