High atop the island of Santorini, I was photographing this spectacular sunset while eating not a gyro but a taco. Yes, a million miles from home, it turns out that a couple from Austin came to Santorini and brought the amazing Tex-Mex of my home state to the people of Greece. Go figure!

I have nothing funny to say here, because as far as overseas Mexican food goes, this was quite a tasty place! Honestly, I’ve seen my beloved TexMex cuisine take worse nosedives closer to home (like in Colorado) than on this tiny Greek island in the Cyclades.
