To Pee or Not To Pee

Cape of Good Hope, South Africa

Despite its low picture quality, this is one of my favorite photos. For many reasons, I find it preferable not to walk into a men’s room with my nice camera in hand, so this was sadly SHOT ON AN iPHONE. But it turns out, my camera wouldn’t have turned any heads, because there were no heads to turn. Not around these urinals, anyway. Everyone was lined up waiting for a stall to open up, and I couldn’t figure out why, until I approached one of these urinals myself.

They were hung about nipple height.

I feel this is further proof that aliens walk among us wearing skin suits, because no human man would have hung these this high.

“These humans shoot their liquid out of their nipples, right?” the alien imposter said to his construction buddy, not realizing his mistake until it was too late.

The physiology just doesn’t work out. You’d have to stand back about five feel and aim, or you’d have to do something equally messy/bizarre up close. Wall urinals are far from the norm in South Africa, so it is most likely that a contractor with no prior experience using or installing wall urinals did this, much to the dismay of whoever hired him.

This is why everyone was waiting on a stall.

Not gonna lie, I love stuff like this.

ABOVE, in Jordan, is another bathroom situation where I wasn't quite sure what was going on or what to do, and alternately, BELOW, is a situation in Iceland where they were courteous enough to draw out exactly what they had in mind for me to do (and not do).
