Back when I was STILL DRINKING, I would make a lot of… interesting purchases; but usually none quite so large, or poorly thought-out, as this adorable greenhouse.

Even though when I purchased the greenhouse, I was physically standing inside of it -- a fully built and realized structure – I guess I thought that somehow for delivery it would get divided up, and then they’d be able to reassemble it on my property?

Well, it didn’t, and they weren’t.

It showed up fully assembled, and I got a call that very day that unless I was able to get my backyard fence taken down by 5:pm, they were just going to have to deposit my fully built greenhouse on the front lawn.

I live in an established neighborhood, with no HOA to speak of, so I actually considered letting them just put it down there in front of my house. I mean... How weird would it really be to have a greenhouse in the front yard instead of the back?

Really weird, that’s how.

Nothing says to the neighborhood, “I’m crazy and didn’t think this through,” quite like a greenhouse in front of (and blocking the entryway to) your actual house.

I don’t really recall the specifics, but everything must have worked out, because I use my greenhouse daily, and absolutely love it.
