In case you aren’t familiar with it, “Main Character Syndrome” is a somewhat derogatory term that’s being thrown around recently to describe self-absorbed, self-centered people, who have a tendency to view themselves as the center of their own life story.

I find this term to be very disturbing because I am horrified to learn that there are people out there in the world who do not view themselves in this way.
