Cold Türkiye
Cappadocia, Türkiye
I am EXTREMELY proud of this new collection, and trust me, I have a great deal to say about it!
However, I feel compelled to use this space instead to talk about something entirely different, because I need to clear up something that has been bothering me:
People keep making the (incorrect) assumption that my aerial footage was shot from a hot air balloon, and this makes me (irrationally) bonkers!
And not because this is a preposterous guess – Cappadocia is well known for its hot air balloon rides over the desert, and I did, in fact, partake in such a balloon ride at one point – so, it’s a totally reasonable guess.
It’s just incorrect. 🥴
Hot air balloons are not known to move with such a focused and purposeful trajectory. I’ve been in enough of them to know that they kind of just drunkenly meander through the sky in a floaty, wistful sort of way.
So no, almost any fast and focused aerial footage you see of mine from Turkey was shot on a DJI mini4 pro. It’s drone footage, not balloon footage.
Phew! Glad we cleared THAT up! 🤣🤣
The stills of Cold Türkiye were all shot on a Canon EOS with either a 28-70 RF Lens or a 100-500 RF Lens. Finished in Adobe Premiere.
