America!
View from Silver Mountain, Kellogg, Idaho
I’ve been asked enough recently why I so seldom show my photography of the United States that I feel the need to respond. You see, the answer is… well…
There isn’t a reason, really! 🤪 Not a good one, anyways. I think sometimes I have a tendency to equate the merit of a photo with the degree of difficulty it took to obtain it.
I know I know… that’s a sucky criterion! 😂 And if that was truly the case, I’d only ever share photos from Everest, where most of the time I could barely breathe and felt like I was dying. 😜
But here you go, today I’m sharing a slice of Idaho. It only took one plane to get here, the weather was very pleasant, the light was great, the hike was a breeze, and I could breathe just fine. I don’t even think I was sweating or vomiting or in any danger. 🤷♂️
See? Too easy. My camera gear was cooperating, too, and gave me no difficulty whatsoever… so all things considered, this photo went in my shit pile until now. 😂
