The Scarlet Sweater

These sheep were originally in the exact center of the road, and the thought occurred to me that maybe we could use our car like a herding dog and sort of nudge them off to the side. Then we got closer and I saw that they were all bloody, so maybe someone already tried that and it didn't go so well...
Ah, never mind, it appears to be just red paint, and Heather and I are guessing that this is how the owners must mark them, to keep track of which ones are sluts. He gives them the red mark, the infamous Scarlet Sweater.
Or maybe it's just to keep track of which ones are his. That seems more likely. There are probably other sheep running around with blue marks, like a rival gang. The Sheeps vs. The Lambs. Something like that, what a yawn. I like my Scarlet Letter scenario better.
Oh! And Heather, if you're reading this -- this is the kind of road that I imagined we would be on for you to first attempt driving on the flipped, Irish side of the road. No other cars for as far as the eye can see, just sheep and a whole bunch of open road. So calm, so peaceful!
Sadly this is not what happened. You can read here about how we immediately got on the highway and ALMOST DIED.
