Kob Knobbing

Pakanyi, Uganda
I refuse to even write anything about this, this is just low hanging fruit. (That’s what SHE said!)
Aww, hell, now I’m typing. The truth is, I may or may not have watched/photographed these Ugandan kobs have sex (or, try to, rather) longer than anyone needs to know. In my defense, though, it was taking foreverrrrrrrrr.
Sure, the buck might have been coming on a tad strong, and she might have looked like a child, but there were so many precocious antics on her part and so much indecisive flirting that even I was becoming exasperated.
If I were him, I would have given up a long time long ago. And honestly, I would have gotten bored watching it through my camera lens ages ago if it hadn’t been for this absurd and relentless little bird.
This bird just could not take a hint. He was so determined to be a part of this, that no matter how hot and heavy things got, there he was, right in the middle, inches from the action.
I wanted to tell him, "I know you two have a symbiotic relationship, but dude! Give your bro some space!"
Actually— that’s probably why she keeps changing her mind. You’re making things awkward, little bird!
